Mara June Beyke, age 14 days, of Ida Grove, Iowa, gained her angel wings on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and dear friends, at the Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home in Ida Grove, Iowa.

Mara June Beyke, infant daughter of Will and Kathryn (Bergmeier) Beyke, was born on February 19, 2026, in Sioux City, Iowa. She gained her angel wings on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and dear friends, at the Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, after a short illness.

Though her time on earth was brief, Mara’s life was filled with deep love and tender moments. From the very beginning, she brought immeasurable joy to her parents, her big sister Maeve and all who had the blessing of meeting her. In her short days, she was cherished beyond measure, held close in the arms of those who loved her, and surrounded by prayers, hope, and devotion.

Mara’s tiny life left a lasting imprint on the hearts of her family. She will forever be remembered for the precious gift she was and the love she inspired in all who knew her.

Mara is lovingly remembered by her parents, Will and Kathryn Beyke; big sister Maeve; along with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends. Mara will remain forever loved, forever cherished, and forever a part of the hearts of those who awaited her, welcomed her, and will always remember her.
