Jeremy Earl Krayenhagen, the son of Earl and Stacy (Johnson) Krayenhagen, was born on August 28, 1989, in Ida Grove, Iowa. He grew up in the Ida Grove community, where he received his education through the Ida Grove Community School District.

During his school years, Jeremy enjoyed running cross-country, spending time with friends, and developing a strong work ethic while working for a local farmer in his farrow-to-finish hog operation. He graduated from Odebolt-Arthur-Battle Creek-Ida Grove (OABCIG) High School with the Class of 2007.

On October 15, 2016, Jeremy was united in marriage to Mandi Stabelfeld in the historic Armory building in Ida Grove, Iowa. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Brantley and Rayne, who quickly became the center of Jeremy’s world. Although Jeremy and Mandi later went their separate ways, Mandi remained a cherished part of the Krayenhagen family.

Above all else, Jeremy was a devoted and loving father. His children were his greatest pride, his biggest joy, and the driving force behind everything he did. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, but no matter how busy life became, he always made time for the moments that mattered most. Whether volunteering to coach his children’s community sports teams, cheering them on at school activities, or proudly participating in his daughter’s dance recitals, Jeremy treasured every opportunity to be involved in their lives.

Jeremy had a passion for old cars and motorcycles, enjoyed staying active through fitness, and appreciated the simple pleasures in life. He also had a heart for serving others and generously gave his time as a volunteer firefighter with the Center Point Fire Department. Known for his wonderful sense of humor and playful personality, Jeremy had a special way of bringing laughter to those around him. He loved reminiscing about the good old days, sharing stories, and good-naturedly razzing the people he held closest to his heart. He was never shy about expressing himself through song, often sending links to music to his loved ones. And while he appreciated many things in life, there was something about the comfort of a well-worn pair of cowboy boots that just felt right to Jeremy.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Jeremy took great pride in his career and the work he accomplished. His strong work ethic, determination, and leadership led him to his position as a superintendent with Larson Construction, where he remained employed.

Jeremy will be remembered for his infectious humor, hardworking spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for his children and family. He had a way of making ordinary moments memorable, filling gatherings with laughter, and reminding those around him not to take life too seriously. The memories he created, the love he shared, and the countless lives he touched will remain a lasting part of his legacy. Jeremy was able to help others through the gift of organ donation.

In honor of Jeremy’s memory, the family wishes to remind others that no one has to face life’s struggles alone.
