In Memory of Dean Vauble

Dean Vauble, age 51, of Sac City, Iowa, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Loring Hospital in Sac City, Iowa.

 Funeral services will be held10:30 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Sac City, Iowa, under the direction of Christensen-Huffman Funeral Homes. Pastor Sharla Hulsey will officiate, with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sac City. Visitation with the family present will be held on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.at Christensen-Huffman Funeral Home in Sac City.

 Born September 1, 1961, in Sac City, Iowa, Dean Fay Vauble was the son of Kenny and Bev (Long) Vauble. He grew up and attended school in Sac City, graduating from Sac City High School in 1981. He attended Northwest Iowa Technical College in Sheldon, Iowa, for heavy equipment from 1981-83.

 Dean was baptized at the First Christian Church in Sac City in 1976.

 His working career included doing heavy equipment work for a number of years. He was most recently employed doing various jobs for Scott Greenlee.

 Dean enjoyed collecting toy tractors and working on larger ones. He loved spending time with his dog, Shelby.

 Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kenny and Bev Vauble of Sac City; two brothers, Terry Vauble and Todd (Laura) Vauble, all of Sac City; nieces Tabitha, Tiffany, Fallon, and Brenna Vauble, all of Sac City; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.

 He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, LaVern and Marie Long, and paternal grandparents Fay and Cecelia Vauble.
