In Memory of Maggie "Mary" (Holmes) DuTeau

Maggie “Mary” Bickley Holmes DuTeau, age 74, of Ida Grove, IA, most recently residing in Rapid City, SD, prior 20 years in Scottsdale and Payson, AZ, passed away on March 20, 2024.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., Maggie’s celebration will be followed by her brother John “Bick” Bickley, III, celebration at the Bickley family plot in the Ida Grove Cemetery.

Following the graveside, family and friends are invited to a luncheon at 12:00 p.m., at the Ida Grove Methodist Church of Ida Grove, IA.

Maggie “Mary” Bickley Holmes DuTeau was born and raised in Ida Grove, Iowa. She graduated from Ida Grove High School and studied at the University of South Dakota. She made her career in the mortgage and lending industry.

Maggie loved college football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers. She also loved her many pets over the years. She was a great cook and loved making meals for her family and friends, which brought her joy. She was always fashionably dressed and looked her best.

Rest in peace, and you will be reunited with your family in heaven.

She is survived by her son Robert Ryan Holmes of Ida Grove, IA; her niece and nephew Nicole and John “Jack” Bickley IV of Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by her father John Bickley II; mother Nadyne Bickley; brothers John “Bick” Bickley III and Donald “Butch” Bickley.
