In Memory of Ardis Weber
Ardis Ann Weber, age 85, of Battle Creek, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the UnityPoint-Health St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center of Sioux City, Iowa.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa. Rev. Dr. Jim Edwards will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the Ida Grove Cemetery of Ida Grove, Iowa.
A Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa.

Ardis Ann Weber, the daughter of Raymond and Vlasta (Bielenberg) Jensen, was born on October 5, 1939, in a farmhouse north of Ida Grove, Iowa. She attended country school through 6th grade then attended Ida Grove High School graduating with the class of 1958.
On October 1, 1966, Ardis was united in marriage to Mervin R. Weber in the First Methodist Church of Ida Grove. The couple lived in Ida Grove, then moved to Lake George, Minnesota and finally made their forever home in Battle Creek, Iowa, in 1971. They were blessed with three children: Julie, Lisa, and Michael.
During her lifetime Ardis worked as a telephone operator for a year then was employed at Iowa State Bank for six years. Once her children were born, she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom raising them. When her children were older, she began working at Ida Sheltered Industries at the group home for nine years. She also babysat.
Ardis treasured time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved shopping and going to lunch with her sister, friends, and family. In her younger days, she enjoyed attending dances. Ardis was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan, collected Beanies, enjoyed taking pictures, painting ceramics, and tending to her flowers. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Battle Creek. Ardis will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory include her children Julie (John) Feauto of Lawton, IA, Lisa (Jeff) Mack of Holstein, IA and Michael Weber of Sioux City, IA; grandchildren Shanade (Brandon) Stevenson, Christopher Weber, Jaden Feauto, and Jordana Feauto; great-grandchildren Trinity, Indy, and Ayrton Stevenson; step grandchildren Nichole, Mitchel, and Austin; sisters-in-law Lynda (Jan) Hewitt and Chris (Roger) Jochims; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ardis was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Vlasta Jensen; husband Mervin Weber; brother Melvin (Mary) Jensen; sister Janice (Norman) Klinker; parents-in-law Everett and Ina Weber; and brother-in-law Larry Weber.
