“I just learned of John's passing this week. He was a wonderful guy. Always there to help you. In 1998 I remodeled an old home in Schleswig and needed my renovations done in approximately a month's time between Thanksgiving and Christmas of that year. John was partially retired at that time and I remember him offering to tile my bathroom. His wife Mary stained my closet doors. Everyone worked together and with me to get my project completed on time. I had to place my mother in a nursing home and wanted to be able to bring her to her newly remodeled home for Christmas. It was the best Christmas we ever had, thanks to the entire family of Kiron Lumber. John will be sorely missed, but leaves me with wonderful memories. My condolences to his family. ”
