Anita E. Hoffman was born on August 2, 1951, the third child born to George and Ruth (Heilman) Hoffman.
Anita was a very happy child. She especially enjoyed running and playing with her siblings, cousins, and friends, picking up pennies, singing "Happy Birthday", and blowing out the candles. Her faithful dog Rinny was her longtime childhood friend.
Anita attended school at Glenwood State School until her 21st birthday, after which she went home to live with her family. In 1998, Anita moved to her new home at Good Samaritan in Holstein, Iowa.
Although in her later years she had to cope with several physical ailments, Anita always had a smile on her face for the ones she loved. Anita's sweet, simple soul is now joined with Mom and Dad in heaven.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers George (Karen) Hoffman of Palmetto Bay, Florida and Danny (Jackie) Hoffman of Ida Grove, sister Linda (Art) Witten of Ida Grove, as well as several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents George and Ruth Hoffman, maternal grandparents, Harry and Eva Heilman, and paternal grandparents, George and Fannie Hoffman.
