“We send our prayers and Sympathy to LaMerle and Roy's family. He fought a good fight but, we know he has gone home. We will never forget the wonderful hospitality by the Wilsons when we stopped for the night while on Ragbrai in 2001. The boys will always remember the go cart that Roy let them ride. He was always so active in Park Place and will be missed by all who knew him. God Bless you all.

“My deepest sympathy to the family of Roy. He was such a delightful man. I will always cherish the times they came into the Farm Bureau office in Ida Grove when I worked there. When he knew that I wanted a little wooden rocker for a teddy bear, he managed to make one and surprised me by delivering it to the office. The work that he did was amazing.
