“Linda,
My condolences to you and your family. I realize that I never knew your father, but I certainly remember you. At least I hope you are the young gal who went to school at Aurelia for a couple years.

“Seeing the picture of Shorty here has brought back such fond memories. He went to the car auctions with my brother Jerry Brownlee and would drive the purchases home. I rode along one day and as we were following a semi and having trouble passing on a curvy narrow road. He said to Jerry " I have read everything on the back of that truck now you can pass." He always made me laugh. I am sure he and Jerry are reuniting in heaven as we mourn their loss here on earth. He was one of the good guys.. ”

“Shorty was a dear friend of my dad's and of my family. He will be missed. He was a man of intelligence and humor. Rest in peace, Shorty, and have a nice visit with my dad at that great coffee shop "upstairs!" I am sure he is glad to have you across the table again. ”

“Wishing peace for Shorty's family. I grew up across the alley. They were the sweetest couple to me. Anytime I needed to borrow a ladder or anything he was there. He was like a part of our family. His humor was something special and talks with him were never boring. He and his wife are a large portion of my childhood memories. God Bless. ”
