Brandy Rachelle (Davis) Gray, age 41, of Ida Grove, Iowa passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at her residence of Ida Grove, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa.  Father Richard D. Ball will officiate. Committal services will be held at the St. Mary’s Cemetery of Mapleton, Iowa. Visitation will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. The Christensen ~ Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Brandy Rachelle (Davis) Gray was born on May 31, 1974, in Sioux City, Iowa to Donald and Mary (Berning) Davis.

Brandy grew up in Mapleton, Iowa. She attended school and graduated from Maple Valley in 1992.

Brandy was united into marriage to Michael Gray and the couple were blessed with two children, Brittany and Seth. The couple later parted ways.

Brandy was blessed with another child in 2006, a daughter she named Breyana.

Brandy met Dave Kinnersley and was delighted to add his two children to her family, Zach and Cole Kinnersley.

Brandy enjoyed decorating, crafting, running her in home daycare, spending time with family, but her true joy were her children.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brittany Gray of Des Moines, Iowa, Seth Gray of Ida Grove, Iowa, Breyana Hare of Ida Grove, Iowa; parents Donald and Mary Davis of Sioux City, Iowa; sister Erin and husband Jesse Padilla of Sioux City, Iowa; nieces Melia and Marina Padilla of Sioux City, Iowa; fiancé Dave Kinnersley of Ida Grove, Iowa; step children Zach and Cole Kinnersley of Denison, Iowa; and many friends.

Brandy was preceded in death by her grandparent Donald and Donna Davis, Wilfred and Betty Berning; sister Abby Davis; and uncle Ralph Davis.
