Charlotte married Stanley Allen on December 13, 1945, in Sac City, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Steven and Sandra. Charlotte and Stanley resided on the family farm in rural Early until they bought their own place in 1954 and moved to rural Odebolt, Iowa, where she resided until 2015.
Charlotte was a loyal member of the Odebolt United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was active in United Methodist Women. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Charlotte worked side by side with Stanley on the family farm. She was an exceptional homemaker, a superb cook and loved to tend to her flowers and yard. Charlotte followed and thoroughly enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities.
