Lois G. Wunschel, age 90, of Odebolt, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Odebolt Specialty Care of Odebolt, Iowa.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at the Faith Lutheran Church of Odebolt, Iowa. The Rev. Trish Underberg will officiate; Committal Services will follow in the Odebolt Cemetery of Odebolt, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Faith Lutheran Church of Odebolt, Iowa.  The Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt, Iowa is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Lois (Schramm) Wunschel, age 90, of Odebolt, Iowa, passed away on October 14, 2017.

Lois was born on March 27, 1927, to Fred and Emma (Spahn) Schramm. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard (Shorty) Wunschel, her parents, her parents in law Arthur and Louise Wunschel, sister Pearl Stephan and husband Don, brother in law LeRoy Salmon, brother and sister in law Henry and Leona Cook, brother and sister in law Guy and Virgina Carlson, sister in law Darlene Wunschel, and brother in law Marvin Wunschel.

She is survived by daughters Linda Dirks and husband Stanley and Laura Sykes and husband Dennis, grandchildren Ryan and Kyle Dirks, Gayle Strom and husband Greg, Gary Sykes and wife Jenni, four great grandchildren Griffin and Gabrie Strom and William and Shelby Sykes, sister Dorothy Salmon, brother in law Clifford Wunschel, sister in law Florence Wunschel, brother in law Everett Wunschel and wife Judy.

Lois was a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed.
