“Hello Family, we are so sorry to not be able to be there with you to celebrate Aunt Betty's life. Having she and Bob gone sure leaves an empty spot. We used to spend nearly every weekend in Odebolt (usually at the pink house). I am so grateful that you remembered Doyle and Mary Catherine in the obituary! Thank you and God bless!”

“My deepest sympathy to the Hansen and Duffy family. Betty was a beautiful woman, and a loving Mother and Wife.
May she Rest In Peace. She is the daughter of my Grandmothers sister, so we are distant cousins, Didn't
see her very often growing up and we connected again after a long absence 2 years ago. What a wonderful
visit and I will treasure that time as time moves on. My sympathy to the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
God has welcomed a New Angel, and she is now at Peace.

“I am so sorry to read of the loss of your mother. She was a fixture of the neighborhood, first at 4th & Lincoln and then down the alley on Hansen Blvd. So many times when I would be at an all-school reunion, I would run into her and we would have "remember when" talks. Cherish your memories. My prayers are with you.”

“Having gone to school with the Hansen kids, Betty was known to me as their Mom when I was young, but as I grew older, she never failed to flash her famous smile when we met and would ask all about how my life was going. She was really a kind and caring person. My favorite memory that demonstrates Betty's love for her family was seeing her every single morning as the marching band would practice our street marching in Odebolt in the fall days. She would have her front door open just enough to peek around it and wave at us as we marched past the Hansen home on the boulevard. I'm sure she was waving at her kids, but I think we all felt she was waving at us as well! Rest in peace, Betty. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you that loved her, and especially her beloved family.”
