“Now you can be with Fike again.....you've had a blessed journey. She was a very strong woman. When I saw her last was at the funeral of my father, she had fallen and was hurting. I asked her who she was fighting with and she said "that darn chair got me". I remember staying on the farm with her and Fike so long ago. Mary will represent me at the funeral as I'm still down here at Fort Riley, KS. To the family.....she was an inspiration to us all....she'll be missed.”
