“I got acquainted with your mother at garage sales, and in the winter I would see her at the grocery store and we would have a short visit. She was always so sweet. I read each week to the residents at the care center so when she moved there, I could visit with your mom every week. She was faithful to come out each Friday morning and then as time went on she could no longer think of my name, but she knew we had had a connection. I will miss seeing her. She always was faithful to thank me each week for reading. She was a special friend. Hi, David Gloria Clark Sykes”
